Sony Ericsson Releases Photos of the new W880

In a somewhat different move for the company, Sony Ericsson has released teaser images of an upcoming Walkman handset that has been rumored for some time. Sony Ericsson say the new W880 is the next milestone in the development of the Walkman phone story, and will "…blend astonishing good looks with all of the music-centered features that fans have come to expect from the Walkman phone family." While no details on features or specifications of the Sony Ericsson W880 have been shared, the device is obviously very thin, with a metallic finish for the front surface. Until the device is released sometime during the first half of 2007 or we can get our hands on an actual unit for some live photos, these two teaser images will have to make do.
